Crest was a clone who lived on as an Imperial Stormtrooper in the 2014 novel Tarkin and may have also continued to serve the Empire during the original trilogy. Wolffe, the Clone Commander of the 104th Battalion, was last seen in Star Wars Rebels as an active member of the Rebellion, so Wolffe could have easily been alive during the films. Clone Troopers fulfilled their purpose at the end of the Clone Wars, and though they were quickly replaced by Imperial Stormtroopers, some clones were still alive and active during the Star Wars original trilogy.
